A Country Not to be Missed
Who doesn’t have Ecuador on their bucket list? The country hosts the Amazon jungle, the most accessible equator, and the extraordinary islands of the Galapagos. Beyond visiting these must-sees, the country was also a land of firsts: our first penguins in the wild, our first hammerhead sharks, our first bite of guinea pig, and our first time seeing women and children in the remarkable traditional dress of the Andean people. For such a small country, Ecuador definitely punches above its weight, and our travels outlined here just scratch the surface of this amazing place.
