Nicaragua

We initially had mixed feelings about Nicaragua – the landscape and adventure opportunities thrilled us, but several bad encounters with locals put a sour note on everything. But as with everything, the grumpy or harassing locals fade with nostalgia. Today we are left with great memories of a family home stay, venture out to the Corn Islands, and some of the best travel friends we met on our whole journey.
