I’m not going to pretend that our three day visit to Swaziland was a good representation of the country as a whole – but I will say that we liked what we saw. The land-locked country surrounded by African powerhouse South Africa and tourism target Mozambique, maintains traditional cultures and well-run infrastructure within the tiny kingdom. Renamed Eswatini in 2018, the country is an easy stop on your travels through southern Africa – where you will be rewarded with beautiful views and cultures, and have the country to yourself.
